C-Tech Documentation

Technical documentation for Visualization Center C in Norrköping.

Who this is for

You are…Start with
A new technicianOnboarding, then the space you will work in
Operating a show or meetingThe operator manual for the Dome, the VR-Arena or the Decision Arena
Fixing something that is brokenThe troubleshooting method, then the troubleshooting page for that space
Looking up an IP, DNS name or portFacility reference or the Reference section inside a space

How the documentation is organised

  • Spaces — one section per space. Each contains an Overview (what the room is and what it is built from), a Troubleshooting guide, and a Reference subsection with the inherited inventory pages. The Dome, VR-Arena and Decision Arena also have an Operator manual.
  • Facility reference — everything that is shared across spaces: power (PDU/UPS), equipment, servers and the exhibition areas.
  • General — contacts, addresses, common web systems and the password policy.
  • Handbook — how we work: onboarding, the shared troubleshooting method, and escalation.

The three rules

  1. Never guess with power. If you are about to cut power to something you do not recognise, stop and ask. See Important information.
  2. Never put a password in this site. Put it in Bitwarden and link to it.
  3. If you fixed something that is not written down, write it down. This site only stays useful if the people using it keep it current.
